Our Facility Needs

Bird Island and Olivia schools were originally built over 100 years ago, with several additions throughout the years, but neither have been updated for at least 20 years. Our buildings are structurally sound; however, outdated systems are failing, causing inefficiencies and costly repairs. The building classrooms are also in need of repairs and updates to fully support educational standards and technology advancements.
